The conference this year needed to motivate Sainsbury’s colleagues to tackle the recession while also celebrating the huge successes the business had seen since the 2008 event. The conference also needed to enthuse and excite colleagues about Sainsbury’s new products and services in the run up to Christmas.
The biggest audience in Sainsbury’s history, this event saw 4,000 delegates from 900 stores attend. Delegates ranged from in-store colleagues to senior management travelling from across the UK to Birmingham’s NEC.
Four distinct experiences were spread across four halls including an arena stage area for presentations, an experiential cooking section and a Christmas Wonderland.
