Parent Know How Launch and Showcase Event
Category supporter
Produced by
Crown Business Communications
Aims & Objectives:
The aim was to create a ministerial launch and showcase for the Government’s new Parent Know How initiative. The objectives were to create an understanding, a sense of excitement and buy-in for Parent Know How services; and to persuade delegates to then promote them locally and encourage parental uptake.
Intended Audience:
The audience (400) included local authorities, Commissioners of Parenting Skills, Directors of Children’s Services, and 3rd sector bodies. To counter ‘conference fatigue’ in this audience a compelling reason to attend was required. We positioned the event as a high impact ‘live’ TV studio launch, hosted by the newsreader George Alagiah – more a panel show than a government conference. A ‘marketplace’ of web, mobile and telephony channel ‘zones’ encouraged networking.
