The Kindertransport Story was produced to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the unique British Rescue which saved the lives of also most 10,000 children from Nazi Europe on the eve of the Second World War. These children most of whom lost their parents in the Holocaust are now in their 70's and 80's and scattered around the world. It was felt imperative by the programme makers to record just a few of these experiences and mark the 70th anniversary of those kinder rescue trains with the aim of reminding current generations of the horrors of the Hitler regime.
